It catches everything. This is good seeing that I have no disposal. I assumed they would be flimsy and cheaply made but would work for a few months but to my amazement they are sturdy and well made. If I had another sink I would order more! Perfect I have had many kitchen strainers but the food always went through and clogged my drain. This one really works. Works as intended Sturdy and looks nice. Could use more holes for better flow through. Have had these for 6 months now Work quite well, easy to empty the gunk in the trash. These catch a lot more stuff than most standard strainers, but have a bit more surface area... This product is great, can't find it in your regular hardware stores. Keeps it's brilliant shine and no rusting. It's easy to clean out too. Excellent product These fit perfectly and look great. We love them.
