The light is pretty top heavy and will not stay in place. Once you think its staying in place and walk away, it should not sink and rest on other plants. My plants are growing indoor thanks to this powerful little lamp. Work as described, I left it on since I got it, still going strong! A little smaller then I expected but has given plants life when it has been cloudy for the past week. I bought the lamp for my home plants and I am very satisfied with the choice. I like that I can adjust the light direction. I got this grow light to help grow my herbs indoor since the weather where I live is so unpredictable and it's better to have a controlled environment for my herbs to flourish. Works great!
