They're nice! They turn off when programmed to, and they turn on with the remote. Exactly as what they're supposed to do. Imagine that! The candles themselves have already lasted for more than a year. The remote recently broke but LED Lytes quickly sent me a new replacement remote. I highly reccommend this product. Bought two sets and grouped them together and so easy to turn off and on with the remote Thank you We purchased these in advance for an event, however we had to cancel due to a death in the family. By the time I went to use them for something else, we realized none of them... these are great a number of friends never realized these were not standard candles we actually bought these to fool ourselves. High quality product; lovely real wax on the outside, the flickering looks real, it is impossible to tell it is not a real flame. the remote is genius, too.. They're okay. My biggest gripe is the flicker....it's pretty extreme. And the difference between the bright and dim setting should be more pronounced. The candles are just right for my lanterns, but have not used the remote yet. Very nice set of battery-powered candles. They look great, and the remote control allows for easy on-off. You can set them to turn off in 4 or 8 hours, or have them stay on. I read several reviews on amazon for numerous Flameless Candles, before I finally decided to purchase this particular one. And now I am glad that I actually picked these.
