Don't get me wrong, the weedeater itself is well-built and functions as intended and I can't, in good conscience, go lower than 4 stars for that reason. excelent I keep seeing 1hr on speed 1 over and over and over. I don't know what kind of scarce, dead stuff you guys are cutting but I've used this several times in what I consider normal... I used a gas trimmer forever. I used become enraged trying to start it, I just didn't have the touch... I know some of us do. Light, 30-40 minute of power with batteries light to medium duty good for small to medium yard easy to use I have an acre of land around my house. Besides this edger, I have a hedge trimmer and a blower that all use the same 20V battery. Love it, easy to use, no power cord to drag around, kicks butt on tougher grasses doesn't waste line string like my old electric model did. Seems to work as advertised I like it better than I thought I would. It is very light, and easily converts from trimmer to edger. Between this and the matching leaf blower, I have three of the 1. It was purchased to replace a very old B D string trimmer. It is performing very well.
