This seemed perfect in Reviews and Description and it looked great coming out of the Box. It assembled easily and seemed sturdy and perfect for the job. Here is the issue. Works great. Fits in the car nicely. Doesn't fall off. Only downside is that my phone(galaxy s7 active) has the volume buttons lower on the side, so the side bracket... Holder works well. Grips phone like a vise grip. Arms are a little slow to open, assembly instructions are horrible. But overall nice product. Arrived broken in package. The springs that expand the arms on the side when you push the release button on the back went bad. Terrible instructions, terrible design, the frame broke instantly as I was trying to put the "jaw" into it. The plastic cutouts were not even in the frame. DO NOT BUY!!! Release button already doesn't work and only had it two days. It'll do me for now but a bit disappointing Well. I don't really hate it, it actually looks great but I have to tell you that this phone mount DOES NOT FIT a Ford Ranger. Spring action on the arms works well. The fold-out clips on the bottom to support the weight of the phone are fine; they leave room for the charger if you have a centered charger... Works great!
