Cleaning it once a week with vinegar and using distilled water, we haven't had any issues with it. needed this for my husband was small enough to travel with, worked great It is quiet and easy to refill. Cute shape and perfectly suitable size on my desk. I especially love the mist which can actually add humidity in air and ease my dry skin. Great little humidifier. This worked out perfectly for my son's bedroom. It's the perfect size. I refill it every night. It's got a blue top, white base. Good design. It is more convenient to clean it with detachable cable. I can take off the top white cap off and clean inside tube with bottle brush. Works well...quiet...if like me you are trying to humidify a room for your guitars. The unit is a little too small in a dry area with low humidity. Humidifier works fine, nice cool mist. Easy to set up, colors are an extra. We use one in the bedroom, one in the living room. They ar4e quiet and efficient. It's a very good humidifier, just very small. If you want a space saver and don't mind filling it up more often, this is the one for you. The company is great.
