For the price I purchased it for, I am surprised with the quality out of the box. Sound is GREAT, did a sound test through online testers and performed exceptional. Its mic and sound quality is good. It's very lightweight. The cord will not be tangled. LED looks great. I have been looking for a quality headset at a decent price which was durable. Most of my other headsets broke over a short period of time. Much to big and bulky to be used simply as a headset for dictation only AND did not work well "out of the box" Good value for the money. It works fine, if you for whatever reason have a static noise when talking ,simply lower mic gain under recording tab of volume, also try that on any voice programs you may use... I love these headphones. They are a bit large, relative to some of the other options, but the comfort and sound more than make these a stellar buy. I bought these for my son for Christmas. He loves them! Unfortunately they're really good at blocking outside noises, so I have to yell louder to get him to take the trash out :) Too large
