- Not a candidate for the Pulitzer, but a darn good read. I think a book is worthy if it makes me think after I finish it, and I am thinking and re-hashing the gripping story line. It kept my attention I wanted to read more. I would definitely recommend this book to others to read. The book held me spell bound. It was hard to know what Aimee would do next. A story of love and leaving. One of finding oneself and letting go of former feelings. Great read! I had my doubts but I was so pleasantly surprised. I wish there was more!! Some more development could've been done with some of the story lines and characters. a perfectly enjoyable quick read if you want to go brain numb for a bit but really it’s nothing more. I liked this book because it was very different from any story I have ever read. Kept my attention to the end with exciting twists Great reading. Keeps interest and curiosity until the end. The ending is unexpected for those who thought she will bring back James home. This book was a good, quick read, but just too many unbelievable parts that don't make sense medically. Good beach read. A gripping story from beginning to end. Highly recommend. Borrowed this book from amazon and I'm glad I read it. I'm surprised how many good reviews this book has. I thought it was boring until about 40%. It picked up the pace a little. Then it crashed into a nutty far fetched soap opera.
