This is a great undercoat rake, I am not sure it is that much different than any other rake, but for the price it works just great. I use this on a short haired German shepherd works great on the husky I used this tool after using the trimming tool and it was able to rid my long haired Australian Cattle Dog of plenty of fur. This worked better than the deshedder. It stripped out the undercoat for my Siberian Husky. I've been using it on her everyday till I collected at least 2 bags full of fur. Great for German shepherd , but after a few use the rubber handle just pull off easily separating from the rest of the comb. Doesn't work very well on my husky/malamute. Will be returning. Great brush but the handle is starting to come loose already
