It also heats up at the base. The second was no better. It is an arbitrary and wonderful commodity that you never had before. I regret that I wanted a little fog. Works great! Perfect for travel! No noise and super easy to use! I fly allot and I needed a humidifier for my hotel stays. I had high hope for this product and took it to my recent trip. I have very dry eyes and was hoping this would help. Product worked for less than an hour and broke. The humidifier works as advertised and hasn't given me any problems. The customer service was also excellent. Keep up the good work. Feel very good, put one in my workplace desk near computer, really like it. i put three batteries in and ranit for eight hours and the batteries were dead - i did this twice and decided that this was too expensive to use. It's easy to pack and provides just enough mist to keep me from feeling all dried out by the morning. Loved it! This humidifier works like a champ and it is so small you can bring it in your carry on. I have had no trouble with leaking. Handy little vaporizer. It's super-light, very clever trick that it uses standard water bottles as the reservoir rather than requiring the transport of a bulky tank.
