We have very strong winds and this pole has withstood the wind and our flag has not gotten twisted around the pole which was the problem we had with other poles. Finally after many years I know have flags flying that don't get all tangle up. This pole is very cheap and fragile. Complete waste of money. I threw it away and didnt even bother returning it I hated it so much.
