For some inexplicable reason this item was listed for return? I didn't request a return and I am very happy with this device. Works well and quickly. Like the temperature guide. Works well, but not instant. Takes about 30-50 seconds to get an accurate reading. After a few months of regular use, the battery door stopped staying closed. It's now useless because the battery will just fall out. Didn't power on right out of the box. Returned. I purchased this thermometer previously for my own use. I like that the probe tucks in and does not come loose when stored. This works great! I love how the safe temperatures are printed right on the face. It reads the temperatures quickly and seems to be accurate.
