They work great right out of the box. They are mesmerizing. These work great but the colors are red, green, yellow, not the pastels seen in the picture. These look great! They shine very bright I guess I was expecting a skoshe-bit more, but A) the lights won't work if there's any light going into the panel, and B) I don't think mine ever gets enough light because they... Huge strand of lights, but could never get them to work. Great price only wished they had worked. The lights are great when the battery is charged. Even on a sunny day they only last about 2-3 hours from sunset. The lights also seem to become extremely dim after about an hour.
