So I bought these during a so-called lightning deal and it turns out... I got hit by lightning...! 5 skewers for $14.99... "These will be great to use this summer when we are roasting hot dogs and toasting marshmallows!" They work well for hotdogs, but they get hot and the marshmallows slide off into the fire. Metal conducts heat. There's a reason a "stick" is the world standard for kids to use when roasting things over a fire. I got them on a lightning deal. We were amazed at how tiny the box was that they came in! Their 1st use was for our sons 16th birthday party...so they were used well! These marshmallow roasting forks are cool because they retract to about 12" in length and come with a storage bag, so I don't have long sticks taking up space and collecting...
