We got these for Xmas lights in some bushes in our neighborhood entrance. They were so nice someone stole them the day after Xmas. Read the reviews before purchasing, and they are now in my sunroom since they are not very bright at all, but offer a nice accent to my plants w/ a twinkle of light in the corner. These work as advertised and are surprisingly "tough" -- but they did not produce enough illumination to light my garden stairs (which is why I purchased them). I bought 10 packs of these. They all worked great at first, but after 1 month, 3 of them are dead. Weird thing is, only about half of the strand is dead on each one. These lights work great - I am in a sunny area of the country so that makes a difference - I have them strung around my patio and they go on every evening without fail These are some of my favorite outdoor fairy lights.
