- FREE Shipping . The headphones have great sound. The cups are very large and are compatible with my Oticon hearing aids. I have knocked off one star due to the very poor cable that comes with it. Great value especially at amazon price I've now had these several months. I love them. The sound is great and although they're not technically noise reducing, they do a great job of blocking out unwanted sound even... Great sound and comfortable to wear. I own both this and the open back. Sound is very similar to the 598s, almost as open even though these are closed back. Perfect to wear for work all day Felt very cheap and made of plastic, also has sub-par audio totally not worth 100 RETURNED SAME DAY These headphones are fantastic for the price. You get so much value out of them. I have the 598 open and they come very similar in sound as well as the sound stage. Nothing great. Cable with mic is good but there is no official replacement when it goes bad...I have to fiddle with the jack at times to get it to work. I wouldn't buy these again. I originally bought the HD 598 SE open backed headphones (I didn't know what open backed meant at the time, FYI they sound AMAZING!
