I sear meat and stir fry vegetables on it. It is quick and everything I have cooked on it has more flavor than my conventional stovetop. Thought I would try this out before taking the plunge and getting an induction cooktop. This works really well. Instant heat, fast heating, and instant temperature adjustments. So far the cooktop is impressive to use. With Le Creuset the time to heat is incredibly quick so you must be attentive. It works great! I have two induction cooktops and this one is my go to. Heats just like it should. Worth the extra I paid for it compared to the other. I love this cooktop! We fry up bacon and flop a couple of steaks in a skillet, the whole house smells fried! It takes days to get rid of the smell! I absolutely love it. I have been using it almost regularly for close to three months now, so much so that I exclusively use this and not my regular 4 burner range. It broke down on me after a few days. I returned it for another and the same thing happen again! Don't waste your money on buying this junk. This Thing is just amazing. I have read about Induction devices before, but never experienced it. This cooktop does what I expected it to do. Works well on a counter top. Just wish I didn't have so many 18/10 stainless steel pots and pans.
