The small area that stays on all the time at night is a little too bright for us in the bedroom. Cool little lite! I'm disappointed that it's always on. It just gets brighter when it senses someone. It's a waist of energy if nobody is around to use it. Different colors of light would help with not waking you out of a deep sleep as the white is a little jarring, but the fact that it's reflected light instead of direct helps. The sensor works well and the duration of light is good. It stays on as long as there is motion, plus a little longer. The quality of the light is pleasing.
