I am using them on heavy glass doors and they hold pretty well. Time will tell though as tehse doors have been known to eat door stops :) Comes with holders to attach to the wall or door - very useful! We then bought another 6-pack for the whole house. Much smaller than they seemed online. Actually they are not any bigger than my old one (maybe 30 years old...and little). My bad I guess, I did not measure. Did not work, but only out a few bucks...these were too short for an industrial size apartment door. These door stops work great, We are using them on heavy metal warehouse doors, no issues and having the holder to keep them up off the floor when not in use is the icing on the... arrived on time and well packaged. they are firm and soft color. the door has stayed open and cat has not been able to close himself in the room.
