Could not cut 1/8th inch (that is 2/16 inch). Hurt my hand trying to cut a bolt.. I m returning it. The plastic they came in cut my finger, but these cut through nothing. ok They work great. Keep in mind that this is a "mini", so don't expect a lot of cut power, good for chicken fencing, etc.. This bolt cutter worked great for the project we purchased them for. We needed to cut a large chain that had been wrapped around one of our trees years ago and forgotten. handy and works. I was using my large bolt cutters for small jobs. eg thick wires. This tool fits into the tool bucket. Very limited cutting range and useless for many projects. wouldn't cut through the cheapest lowest quality made bolt. only reason I didn't return them is because the metal was so f****** marred up trying to cut through a dollar general...
