I filled it to the correct line, waited and tried it several times but only got water spit out each time. I like this a lot. Great size and heats up fast ...would give it a 5 star but its a tad difficult to keep from splashing water on the garment. Very small. Good steamer, but not for more than a single item of clothing. Pretty small and portable, the amount of steam one fill makes lasts about one garment, so you have to fill often if you are doing several pieces or have something pretty wrinkled. I really wanted to like this. And the first time I fired it up it worked a charm. The next time it literally spouted about a foot of boiling hot water and emptied the entire... WORST , IT WORKED ONCE AND THEN STOP WORKING, I READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND STILL DIDNT WORK, WORST PRODUCT EVER, DONT BUY IT. WOW! I like this little thing. I got it to use on a rayon pant suit I'd bought was horribly wrinkled by the time I got home (my bad! I don't really like the way it works... clothes get wet.... it doesn't work correctly ... I am sorry I couldn't find the quality I was searching for. Beats ironing, works well. I like the small size, plenty big enough for a couple of shirts. Like the storage bag too! This is the first steamer I have ever owned. I didn't want to spend too much because I wasn't sure I'd get enough use out of it, so I bought this one mostly based on price.
