Like most reviewers I bought this being very skeptical that it would ever work. Great news - it does! Have used it several times and works great , it works on the same principle as a citronella candle but it looks nicer and you do not have to worry about a gust of wind blowing it... Works horrible and it is non refundable ! Have the portable belt clip model it works great on keeping the bugs away. I expect nothing different with this when we use it on out patio. Just what I needed! Works! Ok I waited to write this review till After my housewarming party. I moved to a highly mosquito area next to a creeek. This style of ThermaCell is very nice looking. It can be hung on a hook at the top of our tent. I am very impressed. Wish the warm up was faster. This works very well I may purchase another.
