I've used this a couple of times so far. The instructions take a bit of rereading, otherwise the product works as expected. If you want a wireless thermometer, this one is really a good choice. With dual probe technology, it can monitor two different meats or one meat and the grill/oven/smoker temp. This is possibly the best thermometer gadget I have ever bought! I the probe every time I cook hamburgers, chicken, pork chops, steak, just about everything meat! I was excited to get this for use with our smoker. There are a number of issues with this product which I am returning. 1. Two probes great idea. Well I'm kicking myself for throwing the box out because One side works great and the other jumps up way to high. Hope it's just a defect and can somehow switch it for a new one. Cheap garbage...probe connections were loose, I had to wiggle for contact. Probes would randomly read high, or no temp, and then bounce around. I used this thermometer the day after I received it. I gave it a quick test as soon as it came in since some reviews commented about problems inserting the probes and connection... I have the TP08 also and they both work as they should. I use them both in my smoker at the same time so i can tell the ambient temp and also the temp of 3 separate meats. Started using it the day it came in. Great features and easy to adjust and customize settings. I had a traeger remote thermometer before and it was always a pain, this blows that...
