Not worth the money spent. I really enjoy this humidifier. Although the original unit that was sent had a defect, the seller replaced it free of charge within 3 business days. I had this less then 2 months before it broke the screw cap broke right off well putting it on the base. I thought it can be used with essential oil but it can not, my bad. When water is out the on/off button turns red but it will not auto shut off, which I hope it would. Great purchase, this really is the best humidifier I've ever tried! I love the simple design and there is an automatic shut off once the water runs out. Very good humidifier, just clean it every 3-4 days to avoid molds in the tank. Good thing it's 110-240v u can use it anywhere Hard to clean this sucker, it keeps making some sort of grey/black sludge on the filter opening and the inside of the tank. Happened pretty quickly, too.
