Used it the other day, put it back in the garage and when I took it out today, it was split nearly 3 feet. I can't say enough how awesome this hose is. It is light, has it's own shut off valve if you do not use an attachment. Stays just the size in length that you are using. The quality of construction seems good. however there is one major design flaw. The hose diameter, even when fully expanded, is very narrow. Awesome idea and worked well when it did but the hose busted only after 2 months Hose is lightweight and contracts well when drained, and has a sturdy cut-off valve at the nozzle end, but does not reach 50 feet when expanded - only about 35 feet. Worked well for a few months. 5 months in and there are now 3 major leaks essentially making this unusable I had this hose for 6 months and it was great but just today i noticed water running under my house and the hose has sprung a leak. Received item yesterday. Very light weight. The lever to open and close the water is convenient. So far so good. Seems to be holding up wee.
