It works like it should but can pretty much do without this. not a great quality product its not as sharp as i thought it would be and it does take a little effort to cut but I am sure I am prob doing it wrong so dont trust my opinion. Great product. Cute item but a little smaller than I imagined it would be. Cuts well and fairly easy to use. Makes the job a lot easier. Works as described, We live in a society that can't cut a watermelon with a knife. We say why not use this watermelon slicer corer cutter tongs. Does it work? Yes. Is it better then a standard knife? Most useless contraption ever. Seriously. I have no idea why I bought this. The tiny forks are awesome, though, so I guess that's something.
