Great Buy I finally got to use this and was amazed at the results. Smooth edge and was super easy to use. the lid stuck to the opener when I lifted it off the can. Best can opener yet. I have always wanted one of these type can openers. Takes off the entire lid and performs well! I love this can opener! It works very well and quickly! I've had problems with other can openers and this one is soooo easy to use. Once you get used to starting it, this thing is super simple to use. And no sharp edges!!! I haven't used this, my wife does. She says she likes it, and that's good enough for me. Nice thing in using it is the cats don't come running into the kitchen from wherever it is... I like the idea of this can opener - It cuts the top of the can off, leaving no sharp edges. Unfortunately, it also creates metal shards and spirals, some of which remain... Works as advertised; no sharp edges. It does take some strength to turn the handle. My wife can't do it very well. Worked great for a couple months. Used to open 2-4 cans per week. Now doesn't work at all. Would t recommend it is indeed the best can opener i have ever had. thank you.
