I haven't built a kegerator from this EXACT model before but I know it's sister which DOES have the freezer is converted a LOT in the homebrew community. This model looks a lot like the often converted Danby 4.4 which also doesn't have the freezer and hovers around $200 on Amazon. I've been watching these 4.4 cu. ft. models for 6 months plus and this is the first time I've seen this kind of deal on a freezer-less option.

For those who don't know, The freezer models can still be used for DIY kegerators but the freezer shelf is usually what contains the cooling element and if converting to a kegerator it often requires VERY careful folding of the tray to the side or back of the fridge. This makes it very easy to kink the connection and ruin the fridge. Obviously freezer-less version solves this headache.
