The first one I received was dead on arrival, the connector cable that goes from the keypad to the lock mechanism was loose on the circuit board. Good buy Good for its time but not superseded by the 914 and 916 models. We love this. Super easy to install and use. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is that it doesn't integrate with Smartthings and the work around to use all the features is... I own two of these, one I had installed, and the other I installed and set up myself with my Smart Hub. Works with my Alarm.com account and alexa, i can remote un/lock the door from the app, or have alexa lock the door when i go to bed. no keys to get in the door. Very misleading description. It uses only 2 codes, not 30, unless you have it linkef into a smart home system. It is not fully compatible with Wink. Use with Smart Things z-wave hub. I did as someone else mentioned: I paired it before installing, which is good advice. Was not much harder than an ordinary deadbolt. Great lock. Works so well I've installed 3! Once I adjusted the strikers plate to avoid hangups it works like a champ!
