There is no way its "insulated" I place 2 ice packs in in the morning and when I unzip to get my first snack/meal 2 hours later there is no "coolness" that comes... well constructed and durable. These bags are not large they are more like medium. They are good for holding food but not a lot of frozen food. I use them for frozen food purchases on a weekly bases. One bag came with a broken zipper and the other bag's zipper broke as soon as I zipped it close These grocery bags are soft sided with a zippered closure. So far they are holding up well. With the summer months coming I needed some additional bags to keep the cold/frozen... These bags are okay. One of them already ripped apart and I had to throw away. However, the one that I still have works amazing. Sturdy, keeps food cool for a long day shopping! Got it on time the only thing was that one of the zipper was broken already. Overall the material looks great and very roomie..
