The batteries were a little tough to get in, but once I got them in, it worked immediately. It's easy to set up and has a nice big screen. Its okay... needs 3 AAA batteries which I hope dont drain quickly because its costly. No cable for outlet at all. I like this product for the price and features. The reason why I give it a 3 is it does not keep accurate time. Ithe alarm clock is easy to operate and us silent. Don't waste your money. This thing is not bright at all. I bought two of this clock and both of them stopped working even after my brother and i changed the batteries and the plastic looks cheap , pay extra bucks and get yourself a good... this bedside clock is precisely what I need. I needed a bedside clock that would light up dimly without having to press it to see the time and this little device does it. I bought an earlier version of this clock and absolutely love it. This one is totally different. It still runs but all of a sudden it starts making loud buzzing sounds and goes... This broke within 2 days of me using it. Unfortunately I bought two and forgot to return them. Would not recommend. product stopped working after two months. and there is no way to return or receive a refund. the screen when to some sort of default mode showing 88:88.
