I was thinking he would drive as daddy drove. It does not stick to any surface with confidence, however my son does play with it. My son loves playing with this in the car. It provides great entertainment for him. We use the suction cup to stick it onto a little table like thing that mounts to his car seat. Bad suction cup. Bought this for the suction. The product doesn't stick on a super smooth surface. Yet, I'll be charged return shipping, when it's the product that is faulty. It was a great experience as it came a day earlier than expected and my great nephew and his parents loved it. He loved everything about this item When placing the order I did not notice that the item was so small, nor did I see that it was appropriate for 18 month old children. my grand son loves it, but it is extremely loud. Way too loud. Decent steering wheel, suction cup not so good. But be warned this thing is loud and doesn't have volume setting. My 21 mo kiddo love this toy and it definitely helps with car seat battles! Previous reviews are correct about the volume- you can't adjust it and it's a bit loud.
