I purchased this to replace my older model (15 yrs old) and really love the improvements. I bought this as a "lightening deal" because my previous crock pot was getting old. After trying soups, lentils and stews not done I realized mine had to be defective. I have three slow cookers and this is by far the best. You can seal it and take it wherever you need to go. My family owns 3 of these. So functional and the clips are so nice for transport. I stopped using this product. For one it cooks everything way too hot. It boils liquids at all settings, from "keep warm" to "high". My crock pot broke order this one... It is exactly like my first except it has a lockable lid to transport what you have cooked. love it.
