Dogs would shake and cause it to go off and then wouldn't work when they did bark. Work perfect I had doubts when ordering but it does what it is supposed to do. I use it only at times when barking is inappropriate It will beep if you blow in the center hole to test it but it does nothing when my dog barks and boy does he bark! Claims to fit up to 30". The collar that came with it isn't even 24" long so I don't see how it could fit 30". Needless to say, I'm returning it. I have already written a review for this product. As I said it works great. We just love it.. Awesome product my dog used to bark all the time. Now he hears it beep and stops instantly. It did not work on my dog at all. I ended up paying more and purchased a training color that I can control with a remote. I like how this collar doesn't immediately go for the shock, it plays a noise then the shock if the barking continues. This collar did not work well for us - it would go off if our dog shook his head or sometimes just randomly. We tried to adjust the sensitivity levels but it did not help.
