This was a gift to my daughter in law who has never sewed much but likes to make a lot of things. It was easy to thread and change stitches. Bought for someone so cannot give review I am a beginner with some experience. This machine is straight forward and provides good quality work! I love it! Great machine, hence some of the poor ratings. The machine sews like a dram through multiple heavy layers. Great basic machine for the money!
