Nearly Impossible to do it by yourself. Would be better if it hada clamp. Wow I love this spiralizer! The suction worked great for my countertops. Easy to use and clean! Very happy Works great i love it. So much easier for "shredding" potatoes for hash browns than using a food processor - lighter, easier to wash, quieter. Much easier than a mandoline, too.
