No, these are not the greatest headphones in the world. Deeper tones get lost, but this does put out a fair amount of base (particularly compared to other, more expensive earbuds... I wasn't expecting a whole lot out of them but since everyone else liked them I decided why not since they're so cheap. The sound is good. I placed an order for these headphones 9/28/12 and I received them 10/1/12. I have been listening to them since I opened them. I love these earbuds. I'm pretty good about keeping up with my things but even so, it's nice to have the secure feeling that if I did lose these they aren't expensive to replace. If you are looking to great cheap earphones, these are the ones! They were delivered at my house today and I am amazed by the quality of these earphones. Like the other 22k people that have these I fall in to the "they're great" group. I listened to every song on my sansa clip almost straight thru and was very impressed. I LOVE THESE HEADPHONES. They have the perfect crystal clear sound and they fit perfectly in my ears. I was pleasantly surprised how these headphones perform. While they are not 'cream of the crop' headphones they work great whether I am outside cutting grass or inside working... I needed a travel pair of earphones to watch movies on my phone on airplanes and in hotels, and didn't want to spend a lot of money.
