Its bristles have the perfect rigidity for removing dirt, grease and oil from both your nails and the surface... My family to my knowledge has never used this Hand/Nail brush for either standard purpose. However i do find it perfect for spot treating small areas of carpet... Just the best. Great for cleaning nails.. does the job. Nice brush. I've had this same Rubbermaid brush for several years. They hold upo well and have the handle to hold onto.
