DOA called the Not Happy number for Anker. Who just transfered me to Amazon who told me to print ta RMA label find a box to put it in and take it to a Amazon locker box... Anker doesn't tell you that every time you turn the flashlight on, it automatically cycles to the next setting. So you have no idea if you're going to get strobe, low, or high. I have 4 anker products, all 5 star, great company I'm a building inspector and live with a flashlight, and own many and I must say the anger LC 40 is one of the best.....in fact dollar for dollar it is the best..... I have now purchased this item twice. Both times, the flashlight was dead on arrival. I put it fresh AAA batteries, and the flashlight would flicker on while I was screwing the... Great product It's nice to see a flashlight that is both affordable and made by a company that has built a good reputation. I wrapped some duct tape around my rechargeable 18650 battery so that it would fit snugly into the flashlight, and now it works perfectly.
