Magnetic and will stick on the side of fridge or other metal object. Nice and slick and easy to write on with whiteboard markers or chalk pens, and wipes... Does what I need it to do for my young son and looks great! Not flawless but much better quality than Precision Works menu planner I chose (for its design) - that menu was... I bought this chart for my 6 year old so that we could keep track of the things she does to help out. The chart is perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. This looks great on my fridge. The entire calendar is magnetic and I use the liquid chalk markers to write on it. It's easy to clean. I only need to use a wet paper towel. love it!! heavy duty>>> i would buy again Get the neon chalk markers so it shows up. This calendar is great for the whole family! Didn't receive the one white chalk marker for the board. Perfect fridge size and sticks well. Slightly disappointed didn't get the eraser or one marker. Like the product set up I love my chalkboard but am giving it only 3 stars because the one I got for my Dad does not stick to the refrigerator and it is a very expensive refrigerator. I'm very disappointed in this board. I've tried 3 different packages of liquid chalk markers none show up on this board. Can't figure out why they won't.
