The dual brush allow you to learn and practice several lettering styles, and there... I have been a fan of the Tombow brush markers since 1992! And their quality has continued to be quite reliable. What is the difference between the beginner and advanced versions of this set? If you are planning to do more than just brush lettering, then you will want the advanced version. I love this set. Easy to follow instructions and the pens and brushes help to make my lettering so much more beautiful. This is such a calming, meditative craft - I love it. This is a nice starter set that comes with 4 dual Brush pens, a colorless blender pen, 2 calligraphy pens, a permanent marker, a pencil and an eraser. I've done "traditional" calligraphy using a metal nib and bottled ink, but this is my first experience with brush lettering.
