Bottom line it's a boring curtain. Delivery was quick. Curtains in the beige color do a fair job of blocking the light, but are not truly blackout curtains. I can not tell if they are insulated or not. Took them out of the package and thought they looked very inexpensive and they had a terrible odor that stunk up the whole room everyone who walked in said what is that horrible... I did not like these. They looked so cheap. They felt so cheap. Man.. they were pretty terrible. They also did not "blackout" the window. The quality and style of these curtains are exceptional. They work wonderful for room darkening. I have a very large double window that gets direct sunlight in the afternoon and... THE VERY FINEST CURTAIN I'VE EVER PURCHASED. THE MATERIAL IS LIKE SOFT THOUGH PLUSH LIKE SUADE, ROOM DARKENING, COOLS THE HOUSE AND IS AN UNBELIEVABLE DEAL.
