All of the pens were less than half full of ink. Several pens had less than 1 inch of ink, there were many air bubbles in the ink as well that rendered the pens useless. My seven year old loves these pens. They also came with refills. My little girl uses them every day. You can't beat the price on these for the quality. We are very happy with them. Still have not received the pens. Have only received the refills.
