Positional when picking up FM stations. Has a tendency to turn itself off periodically. i must have gotten a bad one. I only picked up one station. with in two weeks the entire screen broke in half. then no station at all. The radio itself is OK. I still have some issues with the NPR station as with most radios. The earphone pads cannot be put on the earphones; that renders the earphones almost... Excellent, nice little radio. Perfect reception, light weight and easy to operate. All as described by the seller and received on time. great little radio, easy to use. i just wanted a basic radio to use with my headphones at work without having to mess with my phone / radio apps on my phone. Purchased this for my husband to use when he runs. He does not have a smart phone and is technology challenged but this has been so easy for him to use. Lasted almost 6 weeks. Parts inside broke loose (probably the battery) and 24 hours later it failed completely. Definitely do not buy this! worked only 3 1/2 mons. and quit. This company didn't even reply. does not pick up many radio station if inside a building.
