The single spot-weld holding handle to cup popped off 3 of the 5 merely measuring flour and rice. They may have been in the dishwasher 3 or 4 times. i bought them because they were metal and had etched size indicators, because my last pair of plastic ones died in the dishwasher The handle on our 1 cup measuring cup was completely detached. Very nice set of measuring cups. The label was not glued like a previous review said. Mine just slid right off. Love the colors. Good quality. Love them! As described. Pleased with purchased. I love the fact that these measuring cups are color-coded. I'm a chef, and I develop a lot of recipes at home. Love these! Bought the measuring spoon set in colors, so had to have the cups, too. I like the lines so if one is dirty from wet ingredients can still measure accurately. These are totally cheaply made. The handle bends every time I try to scoop anything which is really too bad since the cups themselves are Hugh quality stainless steel.
