The sizeI was looking. Traps the litter very good. It catches some of the litter but not all. The larger pieces of litter can get caught in the weaving and are not easy to get out. I really like this litter mat set. We had a mat under box but our cat is older and sometimes he misses and the mat would retain moisture. Works great we love it Definitely collects litter, but nearly impossible to get litter out of mat. Love this so much! Perfect size, captures all the litter. No longer walking all over it in my place! This mat has kept a lot of litter from being tracked all over the house. I have it set between two litter boxes that are facing each other so it gets more wear and tear just one... They do a fair job at containing litter tracking, but they lack durability which is rather important when you need to shake the litter from the mat. Worked great for a very short time. Easily destroyed by our cats. Would be better if made out of better material and made to be heavier. Otherwise not worth the money. These are ok. Nothing to write home about and the foam backing sticks to my floor so whenever I move it to clean it have to scrub the floor.
