Every side is the same. Can't see any difference. My friends daughters were disappointed and so was I. Don't buy! works good for younger kids but not very good for older kids/teens. Air bubbles between some of the slides so makes finding and seeing specimens a little though. My 7 year old daughter's Christmas present to go with her Microscope.
