I just bought one the other day and install was a snap. Replace the wall panel by reconnecting two wires from the old one... plug in the gateway via ethernet...and register online. The iOS app is fantastic. You can setup rules for email or push notifications based on events, and have those fire 24x7 or only within certain timeframes. Totally awesome.
