Purchased end of March 2017, loved the product up to the point my 25 pound English Cocker broke the flat lead. Very dissatisfied, will shop another brand. Good leash, it does what it says it will do! It feels sturdy and doesn't seem like it will break, although my retriever doesn't pull hard or anything like that. After 5 weeks of regular use, the lock feature suddenly stopped working. I found this out the hard way, as my bulldog puppy decided to lunge off the curb and into Mid-town... Control button and lock is very cumbersome, difficult to lock and unlock. The clasp is also smaller than other i have used in the past making it difficult to connect to the dogs... It is a bit awkward to hold. I wish the handle was just a little bigger so I can at least fit my hand in it (and I have small hands). Otherwise it seems to be holding up. Good product but clip is small and clicks as the line goes out if you don't hold the botton down hard I have a 80 pound 2 year old German Shepard and this leash is the best one out there. This leash serves its purpose well. Many times, the leash gets jammed within the retractor section, but overall it works well. I am very happy with this product. The handle is comfortable and the constant tension on the leash keeps my dog from getting tangle.
