It runs 10 to 15 degrees higher than 2 other "slow" meat thermometers. We've had this for a few months now and really like this thermometer. When you turn it on, it reflects the room temperature (that can be handy!). Great price, great product. The long probe is great, it works very quickly, and it appears to be made well! The on/off and C/F buttons are located on the back side, which is not as convenient, but they can... Works very well. Good product for the price. A++++++++
